Together for Leichlingen: Roderbirken Clinic donates 1,500 euros to Leichlingen Hilft

The Roderbirken Clinic has handed over a donation of 1,500 euros to Leichlingen Hilft. In the course of a meeting with Hansjörg Hüllbüsch, Administrative Director, Dr. med. Tobias Gampert, Medical Director, and volunteers from Leichlingen Hilft were ceremoniously presented with the donation. In addition, current projects of Leichlingen Hilft were presented, including the planned tutoring, which is to start as soon as suitable premises have been found.

Leichlingen Hilft is a voluntary organisation that is committed to integration, support for people in need and community projects in Leichlingen. Through a variety of initiatives such as German aid, wish tree campaigns, international breakfasts, community events and social aid projects, the organization is committed to solidarity with each other.

The Roderbirken Clinic, a renowned rehabilitation centre for cardiovascular diseases, pursues the goal of promoting health education in addition to medical care. As part of an initiative to quit smoking, a special cigarette box was set up at the reception. For every unsmoked cigarette disposed of there, the clinic donates one euro to Leichlingen Hilft. This campaign not only serves health prevention, but also supports important social projects in the region.

Thanks to the active participation in 2024 by rehabilitation patients and employees of the clinic, a sum of 1,500 euros has already been collected. The Roderbirken Clinic continues to encourage all patients and employees to participate in the campaign in 2025, which will once again support Leichlingen Hilft. In this way, a contribution can be made to one’s own health and to the promotion of social projects.

Leichlingen Hilft would like to thank you very much for this generous donation and the committed initiative of the Roderbirken Clinic. Together, not only can awareness of health prevention be created, but also a valuable contribution to social support in Leichlingen can be made.
