Recently, we learned about a single mother from a Facebook post who didn’t know how to get through the day financially.
Unfortunately, we couldn’t help at that moment – and that’s exactly what we don’t want to happen to us again.
That’s why we created the emergency fund for Leichlingen .
A donation pot from which we support people in our city who are in an acute emergency.
✨ How we help
- We don’t give away cash, but go shopping together or get the bare necessities: food, hygiene articles, school supplies or other urgently needed things.
- The help should be as unbureaucratic as possible – fast, direct and uncomplicated.
- At the same time, we make sure that it remains comprehensible and genuine for us, so that we can handle the donations responsibly.
- It is important to us that people in need are not forced to starve or make their most intimate concerns public – and lose their last dignity in the process.
- In addition, we advise and accompany the affected persons or families – so that not only the acute need is covered, but also a sustainable way out of the emergency is possible.
