The Foreigners and Naturalization Office of the Rheinisch-Bergischer Kreis is moving into a new office building. For citizens of Leichlingen, Burscheid, Bergisch Gladbach, Kürten, Odenthal, Overath, Rösrath and Wermelskirchen , this will result in some important changes.
Closure of the authority
Due to the move, the Foreigners and Naturalization Office
closed from Monday, August 10, 2026, up to and including Friday, August 14, 2026.

Anyone who has already made an appointment during the period of closure or for a later date will be contacted by the Foreigners’ Registration Office if changes are necessary. The Rheinisch-Bergische Kreis asks that inquiries be refrained from in this context.
