From April 1, 2025, we will offer free tutoring and homework for secondary school students (grades 5–8).

In cooperation with the Leichlingen Youth Centre, we offer free tutoring and homework support.

01.04.2025
Place:
Youth Centre Leichlingen
Oskar-Erbslöh-Str. 24 c
42799 Leichlingen
Time:
Every Tuesday from 17:00 to 18:00 (except during school holidays)
Who can participate:
Our tutoring is for students in grades 5 to 8. We offer tutoring in the subjects in which the students have a 4 or worse. Later, tutoring will also be offered for grades 9 and 10. All children and young people are welcome – regardless of their origin, language, religion or personal circumstances. The rooms are barrier-free, so everyone can participate.
What do we want to achieve:
We want to help children and young people improve their grades and increase their chances at school. We offer tutoring in German and mathematics. If someone needs help in other subjects such as computer science, English, Spanish, French, Latin or other subjects, he or she can request it.
How does tutoring work:
📌 Registration is required for each tutoring session.
👥 A maximum of 15 children can participate per date.
👩🏫 Lessons take place in small groups of 3-4 children per teacher .
🤝 The children should also support each other.
The tutoring is given by volunteers , including former teachers and people with professional knowledge.
Important information:
Participation in tutoring is free, simple and unbureaucratic. Tutoring not only provides support at school, but also offers the opportunity to make new friends and learn together. It is a place where children exchange ideas, support each other and learn together.
📌 Registration: Students must register online.
