Volunteer tutors wanted
for our free tutoring program on Tuesdays from 5 to 6:30 p.m. for students in fifth through tenth grades who want to share their expertise and guide young people on their path to independent learning.
Retired teachers, high school seniors, college students and refugee teachers who want to help are also welcome.
This involves students from 5th-10th grade. The children need the most help in German and mathematics. But there are also deficits in other subjects that we can address with our work.
Soon we will offer tutoring and homework assistance by volunteers for students every Tuesday from 5 to 6 pm.
Group classes are offered, with one volunteer helping one to a maximum of four students. Also, two to a maximum of four groups are taught in one room, so you can always ask another volunteer for help and never be alone. Students must register online.
We help all students from fifth to tenth grade who need our help , regardless of origin, gender and creed.
If you don’t have any experience, that’s no problem. Our experienced assistants, among whom are also teachers, will be happy to help you.
