Gut Nesselrath, idyllically located on the Wupper River in Leichlingen, is a family farm with a long tradition. The manor was built in the Middle Ages and originally served as a knight’s seat with a two-part moated castle. In 1536 it was fundamentally rebuilt and since the 15th century it has been managed by the Conrads family.
As a traditional family business in the 5th generation, the Conrads family is united by a passion for nature and agriculture. Together they work on over 100 hectares of agricultural land, growing potatoes, strawberries, asparagus, cereals, rapeseed, sugar beet and arable grass.
Gut Nesselrath is proud to offer its high quality products. From juicy strawberries right outside the walls of Gut Nesselrath to delicious potatoes and aromatic asparagus – the variety and quality of the produce is impressive.
Our first vacation event – A special gratitude
On Friday, 6/23/2023 at 2pm, we will have our first vacation event where all people are invited to join us in making jam. For this special day Gut Nesselrath donates us the fresh strawberries. At this point we would like to express our sincere thanks to Gut Nesselrath. Your generous support allows us to create an unforgettable experience for all participants.
We are deeply grateful for the cooperation with Gut Nesselrath, who provide us with their high quality strawberries. The strawberries that ripen in the sunny fields next to the riverbed of the Wupper are of exceptional quality and taste. Their contribution is indispensable and shows their attachment to the community and their support for our initiative.
On this day we would like to make jam together with you and turn the delicious strawberries from Gut Nesselrath into a special taste experience. We look forward to spending this day with you and would like to express our deepest gratitude once again.
The jam cooking will take place on Friday, June 23, 2023 at 2 p.m. at the Evangelisch-Freikirchliche Gemeinde Leichlingen, An der Ziegelei 3-5, 42799 Leichlingen.
