This Wednesday, we cordially invite you to take part in our joint cooking evening, where we will be preparing typical Lebanese dishes under the expert guidance of a Leichlinger who comes from Lebanon himself.
Cooking together in Leichlingen
Every Wednesday at 6 pm we cook and eat together, organized by “Leichlingen Hilft”. This initiative was launched to strengthen integration and togetherness in our community.
In our diverse cooking group, we have already prepared culinary delicacies from different countries around the world. Our journey took us through the aromas and flavors of Turkey, Italy, Greece, Ukraine, India, Mexico, Spain, Germany, Macedonia, Syria, Bulgaria, Thailand, Albania, the USA, Portugal, Armenia and Morocco. Each country brought its own unique culinary traditions and specialties, which we enthusiastically explored and prepared together.
Each culinary journey enabled us to get to know the culture and traditions of a country better and discover new taste experiences. From exotic spices and herbs to sophisticated preparation techniques, we explored the diversity of global cuisine together.
In addition to the country themes, we also dedicated ourselves to special activities, such as raclette and barbecues. These events gave us the opportunity to exchange culinary ideas and try out new preparation methods.
Cooking and eating together are essential components of every culture. These activities create encounters, contacts and friendships that can go beyond the cooking evening together. Everyone, regardless of their background, is welcome to take part. Registration is required to take part in the “Cooking together” project.
The best thing about it: participation is free! It is important to us that all people, regardless of their financial situation, can participate in our activities.
